Membership is an opportunity to:
Support the professional development of some of the most talented ceramic artists today.
Residencies range from a few months (short-term) to up to two years (long-term). At the Bray, artists from around the world with a vast range of experiences and diverse aesthetic approaches, cultures and perspectives come together to focus intensely on their work, explore new ideas and techniques, and push their art to new levels.
Enhance the education program for artists of all ages and talents.
The Bray brings prominent artists from all over the world to teach workshops open to all through the Visiting Artist program as well as offers adult Community classes for all levels throughout the year taught by the Resident Artists. In the summer, children’s classes are offered, cultivating the next generation of ceramic artists.
Sustain the Bray’s mission “to provide for all those who are seriously interested in the ceramic arts,
a fine place to work.”
Your contribution as a member of the Bray provides a strong operational foundation for all that we do: from maintaining our 26 acre campus, open to the general public and located on the historic grounds of the Western Clay Business, to installing state of the art technology for residents’ and class-members’ use to producing quality exhibits available to all in our galleries. With your help, the Bray will flourish for generations to come.
As a member you will receive:
• Semi-annual newsletter, exhibition postcards and email notifications
• Member prices on Community Classes
• Invitation to the Annual Bray Members’ & Volunteers’ Party
• Acknowledgement in the annual Archie Bray Honor Roll
